I don't think so, it's as easy as click on "add widget" then select the ones you want and you're done. Anyway the fastest way to do it is to delete kde config directory from your home folder. Usually it's ".kde', ".kde4" or something similar. Relogin after deleting and kde will create default enviroment [which includes brand new bottom panel with all default goodies]. But remember by doing this you will lost *all* your configuration made. AFAIK, there is no "restore point", but you always can make configuration, and after you're satisfy with it, just make backup of .kde directory:
so when you gonna need to restore configs just type:
HP Pavilion dv9680
Slackware64-current | kernel 2.6.32 | kde 4.4beta2 | QT 4.6 | opera 10.10 |

DO NOT. To get default plasma, close it: kquitapp plasma-desktop Delete .kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc Execute plasma-desktop (kshell4 plasma-desktop on terminal)
connect(post, SIGNAL(readSignature()), qapp, SLOT(quit()));
