I've looked around the web even put in how to add "links in the panel" KDE on Google...nothing come up.
Maybe there's something I"m missing, but every time I try adding a link (like to network drives and local drives like DVD RW) the link becomes malformed. Is there a way to add them? the same happens if you add them to the KDE menu, Are they programmed for just apts? If this is so, is there an applet that might make this work? could you quickly give a description what you try to do (best would be a step by step) and what you mean by malformed? perhaps you experience a bug

I'm Using KDE 3.5.10 with Debian Lenny 5.0.3 stable amd64
Well, since you can not simple right click and add a device link like you can on the desktop, I created a working link to device on the desktop, then I moved in on the panel just you would an application link. after doing so, I get this error message,"Service '/home/lostcub/.kde/share/apps/kicker/G_C-3.desktop' is malformatted." looking at the properties of the link, it all looks like it should, and if you click on the link in that directory, the device opens. PS I think it would be nicer if the topic is moved, that an email is sent stating that...I felt my post was deleted as it wasn't were it was suppose to be. |
