Add Widget > Folder View but . . . the default is "home" folder -
so that is the only "plasma" folder added . . .
How do you make the default back to Desktop Folder . . .or is there some other way ?

I'd rather add files to a Desktop plasma folder . . . not the Home folder.

Thanks.

after adding the home folderview to the desktop, click on the configuration icon on the sidebar of the folderview widget.

in the configuration dialogue, you can choose which directory you want to show in the folder view widget.

Yes, that was the trick to get the desktop folder - or any other folder for that matter -
back up on all the multiple desktops.

KDE is a nice step up from most of us having first learned the MS Windows way of doing everything -
it gets to be a frustration sometimes in the beginning, but with some patience and the help of the people on this board,
we can all make KDE and linux more popular.

Thank you very much - Dank u zeer.
