I have opensuse11.2+kde4.4+compiz installed on my system. Panel is at the top of the screen and Oxygen theme is set. When i plugin/plugout the charger, notification appears and the cursor is automatically moved to top left corner of the screen. For any other notification cursor stays where it is. Anybody have any idea why this is happening. Thanks in advance.

As far as I am aware, KDE never moves the mouse cursor on you. This is likely a KDE <-> Compiz interaction bug.

This is only happening with KDE4.4, i have no such problem with KDE4.3. I try to disable compiz and use kwin, but i am still getting the same problem.

Bug reports can be filed at https://bugs.kde.org. If you do not have an account, you will be required to create one. Afterwards, click "Submit a new report", and follow the wizard.

i have a simlir issue with Kubuntu 4.4 (karmic): when i press suspend on the power plasmoid the mouse jumps to the left upper corner. After resume i am able to move it about again, but after ~20 seconds the mouose jumps back there again, then behaves normally. I am using kwin. I think this is somehow a plasma bug...not sure. filled a report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=225179
