I have Kde4.4 installed on opensuse11.2. I have experienced following three bugs.
1. Add widgets windows is displays incorrectly, only upper part is displayed. But on Widgets dashboard it is displayed correctly. here is screen shot. 2. Volume increase/decrease windows is displayed near the upper left corner most of the time (only upper half of window). 1 out of 100 times it is displayed correctly. Here is screen shot. 3. I have large songs collection on windows pc and i have setup the samba server to access it from my linux laptop. I am using wi-fi to connect to home network. I am only connecting to network after login in kde. I have added the amarok to application to be excluded from session, so that it should not run before connecting to wifi. In kde4.4 amarok is not excluded from session. It always manages to restore from previous session and full library gets deleted(because samba share is not available). Every time i have to rebuild whole library(takes lot of time). This was working fine with kde4.3. Anyone have any ideas?

I was unable to access the larger versions of those screenshots since they were protected...
Check to make sure that Amarok isn't being Autostart'ed ( check in ~/.kde4/Autostart and ~/.config/autostart ) and that its session exclusion is still present in System Settings > Advanced > Session Management. Regarding 1 and 2, try removing ~/.local/screen-configurations.xml outside KDE.

I have fixed the permission with screen shots. Both ~/.kde4/Autostart and ~/.config/autostart are empty and amarok is present in Session Management. Removing ~/.local/screen-configurations.xml does not have any effect.

Try removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/plasma* outside KDE.
No idea regarding #3 though...

Would it help to close down everything you don't want to autostart, save the session, then tell session manager to start with the saved session?

Can you reproduce under a new user? Also, please check annew's suggestions.

The volume bar is a KMix (volume mixer) component. I think a similar bug was reported: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227871

Which form factor is selected in System Settings > Desktop > Workspace? It should be set to Desktop.

If you create a new user, does it occur there?

In this case can you please file a bug report for each of the bugs you have found?
