Hi,
I installed Kubuntu. I have dual monitors. I had set up my KDE desktop panels as follows: On the left screen, a panel on top and a panel at the bottom. On the right screen, a panel at the bottom. After a reboot, the left screen has a wallpaper, the right screen is black. Only the top of the right screen shows a small part of the wallpaper. And that part happens to have the same height as the panel on the LEFT screen. Right clicking and "Desktop Settings" also works only on that small part of the right screen, and doing so to change wallpaper picture or so does not change the problem. The ugly black thing always stays. This is U.G.L.Y.! Someone had told me that all graphical glitches of KDE had gone! What's this then? How can I fix this? It's too ugly to work with... |

If you make a change to the background on one screen does it affect the other? Also, if you have a NVidia or Ati graphics card, make sure your system is configured for this correctly ( not cloning screens )
