Hi,
I accidentally removed sTasks. As a result my System-Tray has moved from the right side of the screen to the left, right next to the Kickoff-image. From "Panel Options" => "Add Widgets" I added a new STasks Widget, but it does NOT show up in the panel anymore regardless of how many apps I have open. Any hints? |

First port of call: is it listed as running or active in the widget-browser?

Stasks is dead, use smooth tasks instead.

But Smooth Tasks crashes the desktop (4.4) |

Are you sure it's smooth tasks that's the culprit? It works fine here - currently 4.4.1 but it worked even in the beta of 4.4.0.

It works with WIP 2902, but not with the default 2702 of Kubuntu 9.10
So problem solved. |
