No desktop icons with new KDE install

sderrick Registered Member Posts 2 Karma 0 OS	No desktop icons with new KDE install Sat Mar 13, 2010 3:16 pm I am using Ubuntu 9.10 I had Gnome installed. I installed KDE and my icons didn't show up on the desktop? In my home directory is a directory call Desktop, when using Gnome whatever I put in this directory shows up on the desktop. I tried to drag objects from this directory onto the desktop but it just copies a link? Whats the solution? Scott
