Hello everyone.
I have a question. I have a panel that's hidden from view normally that is currently running Smooth Tasks. I would like for this panel to automatically reveal itself whenever a task is "marked" (as it is called in the Notification settings for Kopete), or maybe when an item in the system tray is looking for attention. Is this currently possible? |

Unfortunately that isn't possible at this time. You may wish to ask the developer Smooth Tasks to consider implementing it ( although this will likely require changes upstream in Plasma itself )

Thank you for the reply.
Is this functionality available in the default task manager? |

It isn't at this time as far as I know, although I have never tested it.

Bump, in task manager, with auto-hide visibility it shows and auto-hides task bar immediately.
It would be nice if would remain visible while a task bar is "active", requiring attention or whatever is called that status. Any chances of this being implemented ? Thanks in advance |

Has a feature request been made at bugs.kde.org, or a submission made to the KDE Brainstorm?

I don't know, I'll check it out and do it otherwise if that's the way to go. Edit: yes, seems it was reported as a wish at bugs.kde.org https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232002 Current status is unconfirmed and seems I don't have canconfirm rights D; |
