Greetings,
I've just installed KDE 4.4-1 for the first time due to numerous Gnome instability issues. When I insert a DVD, it plays just fine. However, when it is minimized, it continues to run but disappears and is irretreivable. In fact, one can hear the DVD's sound track as it continues to play.

I've Googled,used the forums and the user base for 90 minutes to no avail.
Does anyone know of a Good "step by step post?" I am running "Arch Linux," and I am not clumbsy with desktops as I've never had an issue with Gnome (notwithstanding the aforementioned) or fluxbox, so I can learn.

You should have an area in your panel on the bottom of the screen which displays running tasks. If you don't, try adding the "Task Manager" to your panel.
