Make Widget Dashboard always on top

Thu Apr 01, 2010 9:10 pm
I love KDE's new option to display widgets on only the dashboard. My problem is that if I set the Widget Dashboard to appear when I move my mouse to the edge of the screen, it appears *behind* my other open windows. Is there a way to set the dashboard to open on top and/or always be on top while it is open?

Also, when the dashboard is open and moving the mouse to the screen edge was used to bring it up, moving the mouse to the edge of the screen to present windows still works. Is there a way to prevent the screen edge settings from working while the dashboard is open?

I wasn't sure if these were bugs, so I thought I'd ask.

The first one is a bug and a report has been filed here: Bug #226875

I'm not sure about the second one, but I think you can file it as a wishlist at http://bugs.kde.org.
