Currently my main Panel, which contains my System Tray, Application Launcher, the usual default items, is at the usual default location... at the bottom of the screen. The Application Launcher is in the "default" lower left-hand corner. I have the digital clock in the lower right-hand corner. I do a lot of reading online, and I was looking at some screen shots that showed the panel on the left side. I'm always looking for horizontal space to make reading web pages and pdf documents easier (i.e., 1 page fits comfortable on the screen where I can still read it). I have lots of vertically space.

I moved the main panel to the left, by:
  • Right-click desktop -> Unlock Widgets
  • Click cashew
  • Click Screen Edge and drag to left

After moving the panel to the left-hand side of the screen, the Application Launcher was at the top left-hand corner, and all other items followed in order. The digital clock is in the lower left-hand corner.

Is there a way to rotate or reverse all the items on the panel, so the Application launcher is in the lower-left hand corner, the digital clock at the top left-hand corner, and everything else on the panel follows?

I know I can start moving individual items to basically rebuild the panel, but it's error prone and time consuming, especially if I change my mind :-)
I was just wondering, if there is a quicker, reversible method.

Thank you.

As far as I am aware no such method exists at this time. You might wish to try the other side of the screen however...

HHHmmm, other side of the screen... the right side. Couple of problems come to mind. I have dual monitors, and the second monitor is on the right. I only have the second monitor on/active when I need it to save energy/money. Even though I'd have the panel on the first monitor, it would be distracting to have the panel in the middle of my working space (between the 2 monitors).
And, my eyes/brain are accustomed to seeing menus on the left.

Plus, it would hide that cashew that is in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. And, I tried it :-), and it has the same problem. That being, the Application Launcher is at the top, and the clock at the bottom. I just want to drag and spin the panel around, so everything is reversed.

Thank you.

Unfortunately Plasma does not offer this functionality :(

You will need to manually re-arrange the panel to achieve the desired result.

Regarding the tool box/cashew, you can move it with drag and drop if your widgets are unlocked.
