Hello,
does anybody use yaWP (Yet Another Weather Plasmoid) in KDE 4.4.3? After the update of KDE (a couple of days ago) the plasmoid is not able to start. The error message is like "The object cannot be created, the component cannot be found". How to find out what is wrong, e.g. a fault tracking or something like that. Thanks for any advice. Similar problem is with CWP (Customizable Weather Plasmoid) that cannot load the weather info. openSUSE 11.2 x64, KDE 4.4.3, plasmoid-yawp 0.3.2.373-2.1 |

Please try checking to see if there is an update of yaWP. Also, please try running "kbuildsycoca4"

Are you sure everything was updated as it should? I use the same version as you do (from KDE:KDE4:Community repo) embedded in the systray and it never complained when I upgraded to 4.4.3.

I am using the package from /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2_KDE4_Factory_Desktop/ I disabled all repositories except the KDE ones and made an update. So, I think that everything was updated correctly. |

Running "kbuildsycoca4" helped. Thanks. |
