Shutdown Button

Other alternatives include right-clicking on the desktop or using the logout tab in the start-menu. OpenSUSE 11.4, 64-bit with KDE 4.6.4 Proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Oct.

Click the red button, it will popup another set of buttons where you can then click either restart or shutdown. There is also the "shutup" widget that you can get from add widgets->Get new widgets->Download new plasma widgets. It provides buttons for directly shutting down or restarting.
