hello,

I have just installed openSuSE 11.4 and was checking out KDE 4...
the default theme is cool and the widgets and panels are gr8...

but, i have this simple problem...

when i logged in, i got this 'desktop folder' widget (one that looks like stardock fences) which was a cool way of having most used shortcuts and so on.
i also added a clock+calender, a battery meter (since am on a dell xps15 lap) and they all go well with the default look of suse 11.4

bt, the prob is that, the clock is simply gigantic... say, almost 1/4th size of the 'desktop folder' thingy, which in turn is itself taking up more than 3/4th of my desktop space... i dont have that manu icons on the desktop ans so it would look better if i could resize these widgets, or atleast if these were smaller...
the icons inside the 'desktop foder' can be resised which is usefull, bt the thing itself cannot and so, my desktop looks cluttered...

dont know if the problem is with the nvidia geforce420m linux driver which i dont suppose is a part of the default installation... so i have downloaded it from nvidia site and will install it later today and see if it solves the problem... btw, the rest of the desktop and windows and icons look properly sized and ok....

if anyone has any ideas, plz share it.
thanx.

With the desktop unlocked, hover over one of the widgets and the tool bar should appear. The top icon (looks like a box with tiny arrows in two opposite corners) is the resize icon.
