I had a neat widget which monitored wifi connection. It has vanished, probably deleted in error but it is not shown as available on machine for reinstatement. Surely if one removes a widget it should still be available on the machine when using Add Widgets.
Anybody have any idea what has gone wrong?

Just a hunch.. try restarting Plasma. If it appears after doing this, but not when you login, then you are seeing what I am seeing.
