Plasmoids on screensaver KDE 4.5

Mon Aug 23, 2010 2:04 pm
Hello there!

I cannot add plasmoids on screensaver in KDE 4.5. I click Configure Widgets, screeensaver appears and nothing else. It exits 4-5 seconds after I press a key on the keyboard. Any ideas?

I tested it, but I even don't get any visible screensaver when I click configure widgets in the screensaver page in KDE Control Center......

The clock screensaver does work when trying to configure that widgets for the screensaver....
Starting 'systemsettings' from Konsole gives no extra output.....

I think it has something to do with notifications not appearing when vlc is full screen...

Maybe - but really MAYBE, with the updated KDE (notification area is updated), the notifications aren't shown automatically when you have some application running in Fullscreen modus

Yes but isn't this a serious issue? Why doesn't a dev reply?
