Actual weatherreport panelwidget ?

Mon Aug 23, 2010 4:39 pm
With KDE 3.5.x there was a panelwidget which showed the actual weatherreport. It took this data from the meteo from an airport by providing the code of an airport, for example, Amsterdam airport has the code "EHAM".

Is there something available for KDE4? I don't want the weatherforecast because the only option that seems to work is the weatherdata from the BBC which is very unreliable, the temps showed are mostly wrong.
When I try the option NOAA's weather service, it does not find any city or airport code.

The self-made one as described here is quite nice: http://hanschen.org/2009/07/30/plasma-a ... asy-steps/
