When I have some windows in task bar grouped and I click on the group, vertical list of windows appears. When I am choosing the right window with the mouse a tooltip appears which HIDES the window list. It's very annoying.
I wanted to append the image but I don't see how. btw previous taskbar icons are not very nice, the colored were better. Where's the settings to change it back? |

Images need to be posted on an external web hosting service, such as ImageBin or Flickr and the link posted here.
With regards to the monchrome taskbar icons, are you referring to the System Tray? If so, you need to change your Plasma theme to fix that.

In PCLinuxOS, the solution would be to move the icons out of /usr/share/icons (or sth alike)....
=> search for something similar in your distro, and move them out (so, when there's going sth wrong, you can place them back) There was another solution for..... don't remember it right, but here is another link http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,78025.msg643311.html#msg643311 => a tip from Arch somewhere on the PCLinuxOS Forums
using PCLinuxOS 2010.7 KDE Version

That's what bcooksley said I think (the graphical solution), but then you have to find a theme with the 'old' icons....

There is no configuration dialog for this because those icons are part of the Plasma Air theme.
