Hello. Accidentally my folder view widget from desktop got deleted. It happened to me before and I always restored it back by adding the widget to the panel.

But this time when I did it, it's not showing in the transparent box with icons on it in the desktop. Rather it added a pop-up sort of menu-icon (like the start menu) in the bottom panel; which, when clicked, is showing the target folder view in a vertical list format.

I tried to bring back the transparent box but it didn't work for me.

Can you please tell me how to bring it back? I guess "folder view" is the widget for that transparent box, right?

I rebooted and then added a folder view widget and now the transparent box is there. But I had no idea of what happened that time, anyway.
