I just upgraded my Kubuntu 10.04 to use KDE 4.5. There are a couple of problems - I'm creating a separate post for each.
The system tray does not seem to show non-KDE application icons. The two that I am having problems with are Jungledisk (which means I cannot change the configuration and I won't be able to recover data from backup!) and Spotify (running under Wine). These were both fine in the standard KDE for Kubuntu 10.04. Any ideas? Thanks Steve |

Unrelated to your problem, but wanted to notify you in case you've missed it of the fact that there is a Linux-native version of Spotify available. Still beta (and unsupported) but works fine. You need to be a paying subscriber, for now, though.

Yes I saw that. Great news and good to hear that it works. I'm waiting for the "free" version though, which they seem to be intending to produce when they can figure out how to do the ads. |
