Hi,
I have just joined the forum and I am hoping to resolve the above issue. I'm very happy with KDE (4.5.0 on Kubuntu 10.04) apart from a bunch of activities which I neither need nor want. Nowhere does the option 'delete' appear (as yet) so is there a way? Thanks in advance. |

click cashew (top right corner) -> activities
window should open on bottom of screen with activities displayed select the one to delete and click the square in circle icon in the upper right corner then the "x" it turns into, then confirm deletion |

Hello,
I do not appear to have the 'square in circle icon' that you mention. The 'x' on the far right only closes the activities panel as shown in the pic below: [img=http://a.imageshack.us/img90/1807/activity.th.png] (ignore the imageshack 'x' which is above the panel 'x'!!) |

if you click on one of the activities does an incon appear on the upper right?

Widgets unlocked but I do not get that icon as shown in your image - at least I know what I am looking for now!
Is my 4.5.0 broke in this respect? EDIT: Arhh cracked it - there is a red square which I thought was part of the pattern - cripes I must be getting senile but hovering on that brings up the 'x'. Thanks for posting the image that has done the job. Much appreciated.

no, I'm using 4.6svn - I apologize for not mentioning it but afik there yet isn't much difference and how I explained is how activities should delete
