Hi all,i finally stuck here to ask help about an issue i'm having with plasma.Do you know the nice and very smooth effect of the plasma tooltip?or for example the when you move the pointer trough the plasmoid chooser there is a smooth movement of "something"...ok it doesn't work for me.I'm using debian testing + KDESC 4.4.5 and everything works fine but i really liked these effects(that works good also under a virtual machine),maybe i know the reason.I have a radeonHD3200 graphic card and i installed the driver with the official installer,so now Xorg is using libdri.so from the ATI installer(saw in the log),firstly kwin was saying ("Composite is not supported on your system") but i manually changed the label 'Composite enabled = true' or something similiar in kwinrc.now it works well but just seems like all kde doesn't recognise the direct rendering enabled,this morning i was looking in Kinfocenter,under OpenGl it says:GLX Vendor ATI,ok,3D Accellerator :unknown,kernel module :unknown(shuold be fglrx).Finally i think the plasma behaviour depends on that but plasma performance overall are very good (resizing and moving plasmoid got no problem and i am also trying out the raster engine).thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Please check the output of "glxinfo" to ensure that direct rendering has been properly enabled. You may need to adjust your Xorg.conf file.
