What do I have to do to rename one of my activities? I am sure I've done this in the past, but I am not able to find any rename function within KDE 4.5.2. Is it gone? Am I blind?

In KDE 4.6.5, it's gone.
There is a separate menu item, called Activities, that brings up a list of all activities, but obviously there is no way to change their names. The only options that work are to delete or to "confirm/cancel changes", whereas no changes can be made at all... |

globulus: right click on desktop -> select activities which will open the activities panel -> click on the activity you wish to name -> click on wrench to configure -> edit the name field -> click apply

I found this thread because i was searching for an answer to the question as the OP. I'd just like to note that the wrench is not at all discoverable. After years of being able to use the right mouse button to get useful context menus only being able to access a setting by searching for a wrench icon that's approximately the same color as the background is very frustrating. |
