The cpuload applet is a very nice one, if only I could find out how to make it keep its display settings. I set them, they work until reboot. The values I enter seem to be in the plasma desktop configuration, and stay, but the applet doesn't attend them on the next boot. Any ideas?
Thanks. |

If you remove the applet, then logout, login again and re-add the applet, does this behaviour continue? Alternatively, does the applet re-appear on login?

Yes, and yes. I saw a post to some forum in which someone complained about this, but it was for Karmic, and I had hoped that either there was something overlooked or that it had been fixed by now. The maintainer is someone different from the original coder apparently, and I'm not sure there is a current maintainer. Or at least that is the impression I have gathered. So it is probably not worth much time on your part.
Thank you, Joe |
