Hi,
I have many prob with my task bar:
-icon disappear
-the bar doesn't have the little arrow to enlarge it

what can I do? I have kde 4.4.x could I upgrade it? how?

Can you unlock your desktop still?
If you look in ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-destop-appetsrc is skype in any of the Applets or configuration sections?
Has this only happened once? and does locking or unlocking the desktop give different results?

I've added a systray and now it works good.
