Since a recent update to KDE (I'm now on 4.5.4) the plasma device notifier no longer auto-hides after a few seconds when I connect a device like a USB media player.
I haven't found a setting to control this behaviour, can anyone help? Thanks.

Can you reproduce this under a new user?

I could not reproduce this using a new user however, after creating the new user, now when I login to my own account the device notifier is auto-hiding as it used to.
For some reason the process of adding a new user seems to have rectified the problem, not sure why this should be the case but thanks anyway, this has been a minor annoyance over the past week or so!

Nope - I spoke too soon. Plugged a device in this morning and the 'Available Devices' notifier is still sitting there as I type this message. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, I have to close the notifier manually.

I would suggest filing a bug report in this case.
