What problems are you having with the Network Management applet? It uses a seperate, KDE Daemon service to interact with NetworkManager.

You should probably start by running it from the commandline using plasmoidviewer, with debug symbols on (kdebugdialog).

I found that networkmanagment doesn't read vpn-password from kwallet and thus couldn't establish connection.
I tried to build applet from source but there are many several shared libraries found in result. I don't know which module I should use as entry point to start debuging. PS. By now I setup password storage option to "Always promt", but it inconvenient. |

Ok, this is an issue with the KDE Daemon module responsible for interfacing with NetworkManager. Can you please try reproducing under a new user? If you can, please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org, including information on the type of VPN you are configuring, and any other non-standard options you need to set.

This is a bug, it was same behavior for new user too. I think this problem happens just with me, because nobody reported about it.
I want find out wrong code in sources to ensure that my bug is common trouble. |

Network Management code is located in a KDE Git repository.
It can be cloned from git://anongit.kde.org/networkmanagement
