How to remove an activity?

Would it be better to put this "remove" operation on a text-labelled button or menu, or at least make the operation icons larger, so that they can be found easier? I did see these little red crosses before but didn't realize they were for removing, partially because my attention was drawn by the "Resume" icons which are much larger.
