Hi !
I have a problem and would like to know how to solve it : I bet somebody knows how. I get it on two different computers and using several versions of KDE : it happens to me everytime I bêta-test a new KDE version. It shows up after some updates. Right now I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with KDE4.6, but if I remember well, first time I saw this happening I was using Mandriva with KDE4.3 or 4.4. Allways with unstable releases of course, but the bug remains even after reaching stable releases. The Plasma tooltip don't slide anymore, they just pop. I really enjoy the effect, and though I managed to live without it for a few mounth, right now I miss it terribly ! Here is what I tried : -> Deleting the Plasma configuration files. -> Deleting the Kwin configuration files. -> Googling for "KDE tooltip not sliding" (and some variants of that same request) |

Hmm, my tooltips under Trunk still slide. Does it work under a new user?

The name of the desktop effect is Sliding Popups, under Appearance.

I think this is system tray bug. It just keep happening from time to time since kde 4.5. I solve it by removing system tray widget and then readd it.
