Hello,

i have two questions.

1.) How can I change the activity icon? I am using KDE 4.6.2 and I can not find any possibility to change this setting.
2.) I want to zoom out the activity, to see all activities. This is missing in KDE 4.6. I know there are some possibilities to switch between activities, but I want to zoom out.

Kind regards.

1. Desktop Toolbox (or right click) -> Activities -> click on the wrench icon -> click on the icon.
I think you need Nepomuk enabled to use this feature (Desktop Search in System Settings).

2. The ZUI (Zooming User Interface) was removed due to performance issues, so it is not possible in 4.6.2 (unless you use one activity per virtual desktop and then use the Desktop Grid effect).

Hello,

thanks for your reply. Nepomuk was disabled, i have enabled Nepomuk and it was possible to change the icon :-)

Is there no way to activate "ZUI"? Will there a alternative(no not the solution with virtual desktops, maybe with 3d effects enabled?), or a fix?

Kind Regards.

A new interface is planned, perhaps for 4.7, but for 4.6 there is no way to get it back.
