Do you have udisks and KDE udisks support built? Also, which version of the KDE platform are you using?

KDE 4.4.5. Nope, udisks is not installed. Excuse me for silly questions, but how can I build KDE with udisks support? I can't find any use flags for this. And how can I figure out the list of dependencies for installed plasma widgets? I don't like the idea of bothering people every time something doesn't work right (portage system won't solve it for me anyway)... |

UDisks support arrived with KDE 4.6. KDE 4.4 is a very old release, which only supports HAL. Updating to KDE 4.6 is strongly recommended.
