Hi all,

hopefully someone has a hint for me ..
I installed KDE4 on my Dell notebook, and have a very annoying wierd behaviour which I can't explain to myself.

It happens ONLY on the first workspace, the other 3 are not affected.
When I click below the menubar which is on the primary notebook screen on the bottom, the layout of my desktop changes. All icons are rearranged and the desktop background changes to something old. When I then click between the 4 workspaces it sometimes suddenly is as normal again. A click below the menubar changes them again. It always jumps from "Grouped .." to normal "workspace" which is not grouped.

I already looked if there is any function configured for the bottom, but there is none.

I hope I explained it clearly enough that someone can help me ? This is so annoying, and I have no idea whats heppening. I googled and searched arounf for days now, but can't find anyone who had same problem.

Version is kdebase4-4.6.2-5.1.x86_64 under OpenSuSE 11.4 on a Dell E6510 with nvidia.

Wanted to attach 2 screenshots but looks like it is not allowed here ?

kind regards, captivus77

No help, but you can use www.omploader.org for screenshots or kdenlive for screencasts.
