if you disable desktop effects does it still happen?
if you change your desktop theme does it still happen? if you create and login as a new user does it still happen? |

Yes, but less since the panel draws faster.
I tried Oxygen and it also suffers from this problem.
Yes Thanks for your answer ![]() |

Interesting - when I expand the size of my panel I too see some white, don't remember seeing this in earlier versions (but I never expand my panel) so it might be a regression. The white I experience is much smaller that what you show and does not appear if I turn composting (desktop effects) off.
This might be related to Kwin and/or your graphics system (card and drivers) |

Maybe you dont see that much white because your system might be much faster than mine. A driver or graphics card problem could be the cause of it.. This a screenshot of kinfocenter in the opengl page: ![]() An here one of the Xorg page: ![]() Is there anything there that could be the problem? Thanks ![]() |

I have separate graphics card and thus faster than you which is why I see less white.
are you running the latest drivers? http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermai ... 59455.html I reported a bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=272975 |

Hi!
I just have installed the update and it doesnt fix this issue.. I ran 'konsole --notransparency --nofork' as the bug report says, and while on normal konsole the same problems shows, it doesn't when using those parameters.. Shall we continue on the bug report? |
