RSS NOW doesn't save size

Thu Jun 09, 2011 11:48 am
Hi,
I use the plasmoid "RSS Now" (on Arch Linux, KDE 4.6.3) and since I have a relatively big font I resized RSS Now to its maximum size. But after every restart, the size is reseted to the original size.
Can anybody confirm this bug?
Thanks,
matse

I was able to successfully reproduce this on KDE Trunk. This is non-standard behaviour for a Plasma applet, please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org.

Hmm I don't think that the creator of RSS NOW is aware of the bug. I also tried to mail him personally (with the mail address which stands in RSS NOW) but unfortunately this mailaddress doesn't exist anymore. I don't know but does it make sense to keep an unmaintained program in KDE?

Yes, I have seen this plasmoid before and it works good so far, but rss now just looks superior ;)
But on the other hand I think packages without maintenance should be removed from the kde sources.
