I'm having an issue with the Microblogging plasma client (KDE 4.7) that I can't seem to knock down. In addition to using KWallet as well as dropping "https://" for "http://", the Twitter account I'm attempting to use will not display any tweets whatsoever.
The URL for Twitter is the default: https://twitter.com When using "https://", the avatar for my account will not load. When using "http://", the avatar will load. On both "https://" and "http://" usage, neither will display tweets. It's unfortunate this particular plasmoid is not working to it's expectation. Personally, I would prefer to use Microblogging over Choqok as Microblogging fits seamlessly into the desktop theme with plasma over Choqok which is just a program. I've performed a search on the forums, and while I find there're some responses to various postings regarding identi.ca (which I do not use), there are no responses that are of a solved nature in regards to Twitter. Any suggestions? I'll gladly give them a go. |

This may have been broken when Twitter switched to requiring OAuth for authentication.

Thank you for your reply, bcooksley.
Should I file a bug report to let the developer know of the problem? Would I file this under a plasma-related bug if this is needed? |
