I dragged the Folder View widget into my system tray and set it to a documentation folder, which has many sub-folders.
It seems not possible to configure the Folder View, such that it can browse these folders recursively (just like a application launcher menu would). Is there any other widget who could do this? Or has anybody a tip to achieve this behavior? (the only way I can think of is creating a script that creates a .desktop file for each file in my documentation folders, but that is quite some overhead). Thanks, Jonne. |

So you want to browse the subfolders in Folder View? Hover over a folder and click on the up arrow below the (+).

Hi Hans,
Thanks for your answer. I've seen that indeed working if I use the folder view as a plasma widget on my desktop. I, however, dragged the folder view into my system tray. Over there, it opens like the normal menu (application launcher menu), but the arrow up is not there. Thanks, Jonne. |

If you want it in the panel, you might want to try QuickAccess instead.
