Hi, I am trying to use hddtemp to watch the tempereature of my hard disks with the system monitor widget of kde. With gkrellm I have no problem but I want to use the plasma widget. Does anyone know if this plasma widget supports hddtemp? If yes, what must I do, because I've been trying many things I found on the web without success.
Thank you very much |

The temperature widget should show them, assuming it detects the temperature sensors built into your hard disks. It accesses it's data via KSysguard.

Well I can see the information provided by lmsensors but not the one provided by hddtemp.
If I run in Konsole "hddtemp /dev/sda" I can get the temperature of the hard disk, but I get no result if I simply run "hddtemp". Do I need to modify any config file? I've tried with the config file of hddtemp with no positive result. |
