Hi, I am trying to use hddtemp to watch the tempereature of my hard disks with the system monitor widget of kde. With gkrellm I have no problem but I want to use the plasma widget. Does anyone know if this plasma widget supports hddtemp? If yes, what must I do, because I've been trying many things I found on the web without success.

Thank you very much

The temperature widget should show them, assuming it detects the temperature sensors built into your hard disks. It accesses it's data via KSysguard.

Well I can see the information provided by lmsensors but not the one provided by hddtemp.
If I run in Konsole "hddtemp /dev/sda" I can get the temperature of the hard disk, but I get no result if I simply run "hddtemp". Do I need to modify any config file? I've tried with the config file of hddtemp with no positive result.
