Hi,
How can I remove the 'Activity' (or I don't know exactly what) icon from the top-right corner of my desktop? I want to make a presentation with empty black background, and it is extremely annoying there.
(Btw I have never used it and I don't know what it really is. I don't need it).
Thanks.

http://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/FAQ/4.3# ... ght_cashew.

O ****. It seems to be called cashew, and doesn't seem to be removable. Is it? Time to switch to another desktop...

It's called the Toolbox. You can hide it with the following plasmoid:
Stealth Cashew

There's also iHateTheCashew that removes it but the plasmoid seems to have been deleted. You can still download the tbz and patch (in Tarball) from here, but it's slightly more complicated since you have to patch and compile it. There might be a package for it on K/Ubuntu.

By the way, what kind of presentation do you want to do?
