I'm talking about the KDE menu in the lower left corner, and using the up/down keys to move the highlighted entry. Oddly, it works fine under the "Favorites", "Computer", "Recently used", and "Leave" tabs. But in the "Applications" tab, the up/down keys don't do anything at all, even if I tab out of the search field. That makes the menu impossible for me to use with the keyboard-only. It worked OK in 4.6, so I'm guessing it was a regression in the 4.7 series. Clearly it's supposed to work, since it works for the other areas of the menu.

Can any one else confirm that?

Also, I do kinda miss the left-side-of-menu clicking to return to the next level up. The new 4.7 method of clicking on the words above the menu is harder since they are a smaller target to hit with the mouse.

I can confirm keyboard control of menu (applications) not working in 4.7.2, but I can't confirm it ever worked because I never used it
