Plasmoid doesn't install correctly?

Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:26 am
I am running KDE v# 4.7.2 on Opensuse 12.1. I recently downloaded a couple of plasmoid's both of which claimed they were installed, however, as I went to run them they both came up with the same statement "could not create a python scriptengine for (the plasmoid name)". What is my system missing or what can I do to get these two to run? Also, I should note one of the plasmoid's loaded and runs well on my Opensuse 11.3 system with an earlier version of KDE installed. Any help would be appreciated!! Regards

I don't use openSUSE, but check if you have a package called python-kdebase4 or something similar installed.

I checked and it's installed. I did get one of the plasmoids to install, found it in /tmp/kde-cob fiddled with the zipped folder and I don't know what I did but this one came up and is running. SuperKaramba is running it?
