Hello,

I am using Kubuntu 11.10 on my laptop. While trying to move the task bar to a different screen edge, my desktop crashed. I was able to recover that by moving .kde to .kde_backup and rebooting.

My problem is: The icon for the display settings is not in the system tray any more. In the system tray settings, I didn't find an option to add this icon.

I should mention that I had an external monitor connected when the desktop crashed.

How can I recover the display settings icon in the system tray?
