Hello !

I've played with my KDE configurations a bit and now for "some" reason I see folders and my Gnome wallpaper on KDE4 instead of plasma desktop and widgets.

I think I've reverted back the configurations but nothing changed (even after rebooting and deleting the ~/.cache/sessions/*).

How can I solve this problem and use the regular Plasma with Widgets ?

P.S
I also have Gnome3 and XFCE installed on that machine.

Thanks
Maxim.

Can you make sure you're not also launching nautilus (which is responsible for drawing the GNOME desktop) when you are logging into the KDE workspace?

In fact it does lunch Nautilius and 2 other windows each time I login to KDE.
(it doesn't lunch them on XFCE and Gnome).
I deleted the ~/.cache/sessions content but it didn't help.

And those windows do not appear on the autostart menu.
How can I make them not to start each time I logon to KDE ?

(even after I close them and logoff they appear on next login).

Once you have closed them, please use System Activity (Accessible through KRunner - Alt + F2 - or by starting KSysguard) and forcibly kill any errant Nautilus processes which are still running?

Also check /usr/share/autostart for any .desktop files that might launch nautilus.
