With only HD resolution (1080 lines) of my monitor, the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen eats away valuabe space that I would like to have available for the browser and for application windows. In Windows 7 I could move the Task Bar from the bottom to the right side, so that the bar is vertical. This is very convenient even on a 1920x1200 monitor. Is there a way to do the same with openSUSE/KDE? I've done several searches but couldn't find anything on this topic. Thank you.

right click on the cashew on the right end of the panel -> right click and hold "screen edge" (the middle top of the pop up) -> drag it to the right side

@ google01103 and bcooksley, Thank you very much indeed! This is very helpful, helping me to see larger windows in the vertical. I appreciate your help very much! Peter
