Window Menubar plasma widget didn't work

Hi all!
I'm boring with my old KDE workspace so I'm trying to make it looks like Unity ;) I've installed plasma-widget-menubar-0.16 from source to my Fedora 16 box, follow instruction in README. Now I have Window Menubar applet in panel, but it doesn't work as I expected. I think I miss some configurations. What must I do now?

If I recall this requires patches or plugins in both Qt and Gtk applications in order to function. Have you performed this needed work?

I believe Gtk upstream may have rejected these patches, so you may need to self-compile Gtk in order to get Gtk applications such as Firefox to work with this.

There is a trick to get it running with firefox. You have to install the Global Menu integration plugin for firefox:
