Muon Discover Brainstorming

Sat Apr 28, 2012 8:56 am
Muon Discover is a software manager interface for .deb based KDE distros written in QML.
It is in an early stage towards a first 1.0 release.

Help us with your ideas for the new Muon Discover interface:

We are looking for any feedback and ideas.
Whatever you envision for Muon Discover in the future, we'd love to hear it!
We will give every idea attention and see how we can make Muon Discover functionality and UI better.

I really like Muon Discover! It's pretty slick and the information it presents is really well laid-out. One question: How does it select the large featured apps at the top of the main page? I'll be using MD over the next few days and come back with any ideas :)

We have some JSON files that we pull from a server:

It is here at the moment, but it can be easily configured to use a different one. What do you have in mind?
