Helping hand in Graphic and Design

Hi!

I´m new to the KDE community. I want to help in graphic an design matters.
My first step was subscribing to the kde-artists mailing list - is there another possibility to get in touch?
Where I can find projects to help on?

Do you have any idea what kind of graphics you want to work with? Any specific project you want to work with? I would write a message to the kde-artists mailing list, introduce myself and ask around.
