So does you know any option or an command - i.e. for KWin - which lets me focus a window to the top so that other window will stay behind them ? Regards, Gürkan |

As far as I can see in KWin's D-Bus API, this is not a possibility. However, the behaviour you experience should not occur.
Please try adding "sleep 5s &&" to the beginning of your command, then minimise the terminal.

Hi bcooksley, sorry for my late answer (was bussy for a time ...)
I think you misunderstand my posting above. What I'm looking for is a way to focus a Window by a command/application ... (?) Is there any possible solution for that? |

As far as I know, it isn't possible. Some X command may exist however, or the KWin developers may know.

Try reducing the focus stealing prevention in KWin.
connect(post, SIGNAL(readSignature()), qapp, SLOT(quit()));
