Hello,
I had KMyMoney installed on my personal laptop several months ago. Always been satisfied of using this program. Finally i managed to encrypt my personal file with GPG. Now my laptop broke down but i managed to recover a backup of this file. Meanwhile i istalled KDE for windows installer on an other laptop, got KMyMoney and KDEutils (with KGPG) from the internet but my original file won't open. The following error message appears "GPG is not available for decrypting this file...." altho KGPg is present and active. Help |

Did you check the Encryption settings? Does it detect your key?

Cristian, what does KDE use for GPG encryption on Windows? I don't think it's GPG4Win, is it?

That's not enough. KMyMoney remembers the format and uses it when you save under a different name. Save it as .xml and you should be safe. There must be a combo box in the 'File Save As...' dialog at the bottom where you can select the format.
