I'm running Kmymoney 4.6.2 on a Slackware 14.0 with XFCE desktop and it works like a charm.
I've installed the following dependencies to make kmymoney work:
- kdelibs
- kdepimlibs
- oxygen-icons
- libalkimia

However, if I change the icons theme (to Gnome or Tango for example), I lose the icons in the application.

My question is: does kmymoney displays icons only if oxygen icons theme is selected in my desktop or is there a way to trick kmymoney into using the same icon set (i.e. the one in /usr/share/apps/kmymoney/icons/oxygen) whatever the icons theme selected for the desktop?

I don't have any icon in the application. For example: New account, Save, Cancel, Calculator...

Buttons are displayed but with no icons. Some buttons have texts in them but others are just an empty box.

I'm suspecting that Kmymoney is displaying only icons if oxygen icons theme is selected but I could find any confirmation anywhere: in this forum, the Kmymoney FAQ...

Maybe one developer can confirm this situation.

I don't use oxygen icons, and the same happens for a lot of people.
At one point there was an issue with icons in Fedora. That should be solved in 4.6.3
